Nancy Boas is a multidisciplinary designer based in New York City.

With the precision and patience of a jeweler, Nancy sculpts intricate forms out of wax, drawing primary inspiration from the natural world—particularly flora and fauna. Her work explores the structure of flowers on the verge of bloom and the architecture of their supporting leaves and stems, forming the foundation for a collection of candlesticks, bud vases, and incense burners cast in bronze and silver.

A recent series of candlesticks takes inspiration from the Crinum americanum (Lily). These sculptural aquatic flowers are reimagined in multiple cast sizes, which can be interwoven to create a dynamic, kinetic bouquet.
